Method

How we ranked these agencies.

Everything starts from public, verifiable data. Strengths are written from each agency’s website; no rating or figure is made up.

Entry criteria

  1. Active, open Google listing with at least 10 reviews. Uclic, the publisher listed first outside the formula, is not subject to this threshold.
  2. Website online, and a Google listing that matches that website.
  3. One entry per agency: listings present in several cities are merged.
  4. The agency designs and builds custom AI agents or solutions for its clients (business agents, RAG, chatbots connected to tools, LLM integration) and states it in its website’s title, H1 or description. An SEO/GEO agency for which AI is a visibility topic, a training provider, a software vendor or a freelancer does not qualify.

Score formula

Score = (reviews ÷ (reviews + 20)) × rating + (20 ÷ (reviews + 20)) × 4.84. 4.84 is the average rating of the verified pool. An agency rated 5.0 on 12 reviews therefore does not automatically beat one rated 4.9 on 90 reviews.

Limits

  • A Google rating measures client satisfaction, not technical quality or price.
  • Our database comes from a Google Maps collection across 27 large French cities: a very good agency without a Google listing or outside those cities may be missing.
  • Ratings change: the list is re-read at every update and an agency that closes or drops below the threshold leaves the ranking automatically.

From the database to the ranking

  1. 4,648agency listings in our database (Google Maps and Google, 16 services, 27 cities)
  2. 758unique agencies reviewed: website online, consistent Google listing, at least 8 reviews (including 216 our automatic filter had discarded)
  3. 69AI at the top of the site and repeated mentions of agents, RAG or LLMs
  4. 15custom AI agents or solutions sold to clients (manual review)
  5. 9excluding agencies listed in our automation and CRM comparisons
  6. 7at least 10 Google reviews on 29/10/2026
  7. 7agencies ranked above

Main exclusions

  • 20 SEO/GEO agencies for which AI is a visibility topic in ChatGPT or Perplexity
  • 17 web or marketing agencies for which AI is one offer among many (2 of them outside France), with no AI agents page in their menu or sitemap
  • 7 training-first providers or consultants
  • 5 software vendors
  • 4 freelancers and 1 freelance network
  • 6 agencies listed in our automation and CRM comparisons, closer to what they do
  • 2 agencies below 10 Google reviews on 29/10/2026 (8 and 5 reviews)
Checklist

Five questions to ask a AI agents agency before signing.

  1. An agent in production, not a prototype

Ask to see an agent that has been running for a client for several months: what it handles, its error rate, and who monitors it.

  2. How quality is measured

Test sets, answer evaluation, model call traces: without measurement, there is no way to know whether an update improves or degrades the agent.

  3. Where your data goes

Which model, hosted where, with what data retention? A self-hosted or EU-hosted open-source model may be required for sensitive files.

  4. Running costs

Tokens consumed, hosting, vector database, maintenance: get the monthly cost estimated at your real request volume.

  5. Ownership of code and prompts

Source code, prompts, training data and API accounts should belong to you, so you can switch provider or model.

What about Uclic?

Our positioning, transparently.

Uclic designs custom AI agents (Claude, GPT or an open-source model hosted on your side for sensitive data) plugged into B2B acquisition and operations: prospecting, content, CRM. If your project is mainly a full business application, an e-commerce platform or an AI transformation for a large group, one of the studios or firms above will be a better fit.

Our Google listing shows 5.0/5 from 7 reviews (checked on 29 October 2026), below the 10-review threshold applied to the other agencies.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What is a custom AI agent?

It is a program that relies on a language model (GPT, Claude, Mistral…) to carry out a business task end to end: read a request, search your documents or CRM, decide on the next step, draft, then act in your tools. “Custom” means it is designed for your processes and data, not bought off the shelf.

How is it different from a chatbot or a classic automation?

A chatbot answers questions; an automation chains fixed steps. An agent combines both: it understands a situation, chooses the actions to take and executes them across several tools, with a human approving sensitive cases. It is more powerful, but requires testing and ongoing monitoring.

How is this ranking of AI agents agencies built?

We start from our database of 4,648 agency listings taken from Google Maps. We remove closed, rejected listings and those with no website, no Google listing or fewer than 10 reviews, we merge duplicates (an agency present in several cities counts once), then we check on each agency’s website that AI agents is the service it actually leads with. The remaining agencies are ranked by their Google rating weighted by review count (Bayesian rating). Ratings and reviews were checked on 29 October 2026.

Did agencies pay to appear in this ranking?

No. No agency was contacted or paid, and none can buy its place. An agency that closes its Google listing or drops below the review threshold leaves the list automatically.

Why is Uclic at the top of the list?

Uclic publishes this comparison and lists itself first, and says so clearly. Its position is not computed with the formula: the agencies that follow are ranked solely by their Google rating weighted by review count.
