Method

How we ranked these agencies.

Everything starts from public, verifiable data. Strengths are written from each agency’s website; no rating or figure is made up.

Entry criteria

  1. Active, open Google listing with at least 10 reviews. Uclic, the publisher listed first outside the formula, is not subject to this threshold.
  2. Website online, and a Google listing that matches that website.
  3. One entry per agency: listings present in several cities are merged.
  4. Paid acquisition (paid search, ads, online marketing) is the business shown in the website’s title or H1, and the agency presents YouTube advertising on a dedicated service page. A video production company, a generalist web or communication agency, a blog post, a freelancer or an agency based outside France does not qualify.

Score formula

Score = (reviews ÷ (reviews + 20)) × rating + (20 ÷ (reviews + 20)) × 4.82. 4.82 is the average rating of the verified pool. An agency rated 5.0 on 12 reviews therefore does not automatically beat one rated 4.9 on 90 reviews.

Limits

  • A Google rating measures client satisfaction, not technical quality or price.
  • Our database comes from a Google Maps collection across 27 large French cities: a very good agency without a Google listing or outside those cities may be missing.
  • Ratings change: the list is re-read at every update and an agency that closes or drops below the threshold leaves the ranking automatically.

From the database to the ranking

  1. 4,648agency listings in our database (Google Maps and Google, 16 services, 27 cities)
  2. 610unique agencies after quality filters (open, validated, website, Google listing, at least 10 reviews) and national deduplication
  3. 282agencies focused on online advertising (title, H1 or advertising service in our database), 8+ reviews, Google listing consistent with the website
  4. 254website online on 29/10/2026 (Chrome browser)
  5. 37page about YouTube advertising found on the website (menu, service pages, sitemap)
  6. 21dedicated service page, paid acquisition leading the website, neither freelance nor outside France (manual review)
  7. 21at least 10 Google reviews on 29/10/2026 (listing refreshed)
  8. 10agencies ranked above

Main exclusions

  • 10 web, communication, creative social media or video production agencies that do not lead with paid acquisition
  • 2 websites where YouTube Ads only appears in blog posts
  • 2 independent consultants
  • 1 Google listing that does not match the linked website
  • 1 agency based outside France (London)
  • the other 11 eligible agencies are not part of this top 10: ranked lower, or already listed in three of our comparisons or in our Bing Ads comparison (an agency appears in three rankings at most)
Checklist

Five questions to ask a YouTube Ads agency before signing.

  1. What will the campaign be judged on?

Views and cost per view say nothing about the business. Ask which metric will be tracked: brand searches, lift study, conversions or leads, and how it is measured before the first impression.

  2. Who produces the videos?

Creative drives most of the result. Check whether the agency produces, adapts or only runs your videos, and how many variants it plans to test (hook in the first seconds, short formats).

  3. Which formats, and why?

Skippable in-stream, 6-second bumpers, Shorts, Demand Gen: each format serves a different goal. A good agency explains its choice against your goal, not by default.

  4. How your ads are protected

Ask which exclusions are set (content made for kids, mobile apps, sensitive categories) and how often actual placements are reviewed.

  5. How it connects to your other campaigns

YouTube creates demand that search and remarketing then capture. An agency running both measures that effect; otherwise, ask how it will be tracked.

What about Uclic?

Our positioning, transparently.

Uclic uses YouTube Ads for B2B companies, in the same team as search, outbound and automation: video creates demand that the other channels capture, and it is judged on that effect, not on views. If you mainly need video production or a consumer awareness campaign, several agencies above are better equipped.

Our Google listing shows 5.0/5 from 7 reviews (checked on 29 October 2026), below the 10-review threshold applied to the other agencies.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

YouTube Ads agency or video agency: what is the difference?

A video agency produces films; a YouTube Ads agency buys ad space on YouTube through Google Ads, picks audiences and formats, then optimises the campaigns. Some agencies in this ranking do both, others work from your videos or with a partner studio.

Does YouTube Ads work in B2B?

Yes, especially to make an offer known before people search for it, and for remarketing. Targeting relies on search intent, customer lists and custom audiences rather than company or job title, so measurement should track the effect on demand (brand searches, leads), not just views.

How is this ranking of YouTube Ads agencies built?

We start from our database of 4,648 agency listings taken from Google Maps. We remove closed, rejected listings and those with no website, no Google listing or fewer than 10 reviews, we merge duplicates (an agency present in several cities counts once), then we check on each agency’s website that paid acquisition is what it leads with and that it offers YouTube advertising on a dedicated service page. The remaining agencies are ranked by their Google rating weighted by review count (Bayesian rating). Ratings and reviews were checked on 29 October 2026.

Did agencies pay to appear in this ranking?

No. No agency was contacted or paid, and none can buy its place. An agency that closes its Google listing or drops below the review threshold leaves the list automatically.

Why is Uclic at the top of the list?

Uclic publishes this comparison and lists itself first, and says so clearly. Its position is not computed with the formula: the agencies that follow are ranked solely by their Google rating weighted by review count.
