Camo Café: A Premium Parisian Identity Nurtured by Arabic Calligraphy

Context

Objective

• Integrate the Arabic calligraphic reference into the logotype without visual disruption, at equal height with the other letters.
• Break away from expected coffee shop codes (warm browns, artisanal kitsch) to aim for a premium Parisian positioning.
• Simple and scalable system, where the logotype alone carries the entire identity (storefront, cups, packaging, social).

Start from the founder's cultural intention and transform it into a defensible graphic system.

   Logotype: an M that blends in

   The M with Arabic calligraphic inspiration is redrawn and reintegrated into the logotype, at equal height with the other letters. It blends in naturally: discreet for those who don't know it, full of meaning for those who recognize the nod.

2. 02

   Warm script typography, never kitsch

   Choice of a contemporary script that brings warmth and character without falling into vintage pastiche. The hand remains legible, the spirit remains Parisian.

   Palette: moving beyond the expected coffee brown

   Cream, deep brown, absolute black. We move away from standard warm coffee shop browns to position Camo in a more premium, more Parisian register, closer to a fashion house than a coffee chain.

   The logotype as a visual system

   The visual system is based on a simple principle: the logotype itself becomes the decorative element. Large on a storefront, fragmented on cups, as a background texture, the brand is self-sufficient, no need for an overloaded iconographic universe.

Results

• Distinctive logotype integrating the calligraphic M without visual disruption, legible for all and meaningful for those who know.
